Privacy Policy

TubeCube is a YouTube analytics dashboard. We read your channel's analytics with your permission and show you insights about it. In plain terms:

• We use read-only access to YouTube. We never post, edit, or delete anything.
• We never sell or share your data for advertising.
• We never see your card details — payments are handled entirely by Stripe.
• You can revoke our access or ask us to delete your data at any time.
• If you use Stream Chat, we show your live chat in your overlay and do not store the messages, and we do not keep your Twitch or Kick login.

TubeCube ("we", "us") operates the website at www.tubecube.net. For any privacy question or request, contact us at info@tubecube.net.

Google account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture.

YouTube channel and video data. With your consent, we access the following Google API scopes:

• youtube.readonly — your channel details and your uploaded videos (titles, thumbnails, publish dates, privacy status).
• yt-analytics.readonly — your channel's analytics: views, estimated minutes watched, average view percentage (retention), subscribers gained, likes, and comments.

Billing information. If you subscribe, Stripe processes your payment. We receive and store only your Stripe customer ID, your subscription status, and the date your current billing period ends. We never receive or store your card number.

Feedback. If you use the feedback form, we receive the message and the category you selected, along with your email so we can reply.

Stream Chat. Only if you choose to use it — see Stream Chat below for what we receive from Twitch, Kick and YouTube live chat.

• To authenticate you and keep you signed in.
• To calculate and display your analytics, insights, and competitor comparisons.
• To generate your AI Growth Plan, if you have access to that feature.
• To show your combined live chat in your stream overlay, if you use Stream Chat.
• To manage your subscription and provide customer support.
• To respond to feedback and fix problems you report.
• To email subscribers a weekly reminder that a new plan is ready, and to send billing notices before a renewal or after a failed payment.
• To send new users a short series of emails about their own channel's numbers. These are generated from your computed findings — no AI is involved — and every one has a one-click unsubscribe.

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not build profiles of you for any purpose other than operating the features described above.

Your session. Your Google access and refresh tokens are stored in an encrypted session cookie. They are readable only by our server — never by JavaScript in your browser. Signing out clears the session.

Subscription records. If you subscribe, we store your email, plan status, billing period end, and Stripe customer ID in our database (Upstash Redis). We keep this for as long as your account is active, and afterward as needed for tax and accounting records.

Cached analytics. To avoid re-running expensive calculations, we cache your computed insights summary and AI Growth Plan until the end of the current week, after which it is automatically deleted. This cache holds aggregated figures and your video titles — not raw viewer data.

Plan history. Each weekly AI Growth Plan is kept for one year so you can review past plans and so each new plan can tell whether last week's suggestions moved your numbers. A stored plan contains the written plan text, a small snapshot of that week's totals (views, watch time, subscribers gained), and your account email so we can send you the weekly reminder. It is deleted automatically after a year, and immediately if you disconnect your Google account.

Onboarding emails. So that our emails can refer to your own channel rather than generic advice, we store a small digest alongside your account: your email and name, the date you first used the app, your channel totals, up to two of your computed findings, and the date of your most recent upload. We also record which emails we have sent you, so none is repeated. This is kept for one year, deleted immediately if you disconnect your Google account, and every one of these emails has a one-click unsubscribe.

In your browser. Your saved competitor list and display preferences (theme, accent color) are stored in your browser's local storage on your device. You can clear these yourself at any time from Settings → Data & privacy.

Stream Chat is an optional feature that combines your YouTube, Twitch and Kick live chat into one overlay for your streaming software. This section applies only if you use it.

Connecting Twitch or Kick. You sign in on Twitch or Kick and approve read-only access to your channel's chat. We use that sign-in once, to confirm which channel is yours, and then discard it. We do not store your Twitch or Kick access tokens or passwords. We keep only your channel's ID and name on that platform, so we know which chat to read. We cannot post, moderate, or change anything on your channel.

YouTube live chat. This needs no extra permission. We read the public live chat of streams on the YouTube channel linked to your TubeCube login, using YouTube API Services, and we keep your channel ID and the ID of the stream you started.

Chat messages. While you are live, public chat messages — the sender's display name, badges, the message, its emotes, and Super Chat or other paid message details — pass through our servers on their way to your overlay. We do not store them, and we do not combine chat data across creators or use it for anything other than displaying it to you. Messages that a moderator deletes are removed from your overlay too.

What we do store. Your connected channel IDs and names, your overlay's private address, your Stream Chat settings, and any member emote images or theme files you upload. These are held by the Stream Chat service under a random-looking identifier, not your email address.

Third-party emotes. If the 7TV, BTTV and FFZ option is on, we ask those services for the emote sets belonging to your channels, which means sending them your public channel IDs. You can turn this off on the Stream Chat page. Emote and badge images are loaded through our servers, so your streaming software does not contact those services directly.

Removing it. Disconnecting Twitch or Kick on the Stream Chat page removes that channel straight away. Disconnecting your Google account from Settings deletes all of your Stream Chat data, including uploaded emotes and themes. You can also remove TubeCube's access from your Twitch connections or your Kick account settings at any time.

We share data with these providers only as needed to operate TubeCube:

• Google / YouTube — source of your analytics data and sign-in.
• Vercel — website hosting and cookieless page analytics.
• Upstash — database for subscription records and cached insights.
• Stripe — payment processing and subscription management.
• Anthropic — AI processing for the AI Growth Plan (see below).
• Resend — delivering our emails to you (plan reminders, billing notices, onboarding), and feedback form emails to us.
• Twitch and Kick — source of your live chat, if you connect them to Stream Chat.
• Fly.io and Cloudflare — hosting and network protection for the Stream Chat service.
• 7TV, BetterTTV and FrankerFaceZ — emote sets for Stream Chat, if that option is on.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

The AI Growth Plan is generated by Anthropic's Claude. When you have access to this feature and it runs, we send Claude: your channel totals; the computed findings; a table of your videos (title, publish date, views, watch time, retention percentage, subscribers gained, likes and comments); how those figures have moved versus the previous period; the public metrics of any competitor channels you have chosen to track; and the previous week's plan, so the new one can tell whether its suggestions worked. We do not send raw viewer data, personal information about your viewers, your email, or your access tokens.

Anthropic processes this data to return your plan and, per their commercial terms, does not use it to train their models. If you never use this feature, no data is sent to Anthropic.

TubeCube's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically, we use Google user data only to provide and improve the features you can see in the app, we do not transfer it to others except as described above, we do not use it for advertising, and no human reads your data except where required for security, to comply with the law, or with your explicit consent (for example, when you ask us for support).

TubeCube uses YouTube API Services. By using TubeCube, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's privacy practices are described in the Google Privacy Policy. You can review and revoke TubeCube's access to your data at any time via the Google security settings page.

• Revoke access. Disconnect TubeCube from your Google account at any time via Google permissions or from Settings in the app. Twitch and Kick connections can be removed from the Stream Chat page.
• Delete your data. Email us at info@tubecube.net and we will delete your stored records. Note that we may retain billing records where legally required.
• Access or export. Ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Clear local data. Use Settings → Data & privacy to clear anything saved in your browser.

Depending on where you live (for example, the EEA/UK under GDPR, or California under CCPA), you may have additional rights over your personal data. We honor these requests regardless of your location — just contact us.

We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand how the site is used — which pages are visited and whether features are working. It is cookieless: it sets no cookies, does not use device fingerprinting, does not build a profile of you, and does not track you across other websites. It records aggregate visit data such as the page viewed, the referring site, and a coarse country/device/browser type. It does not receive your email, your Google account information, or any of your YouTube analytics data.

Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Access tokens are held in an encrypted, server-only session cookie and are never exposed to browser JavaScript. Access to our systems is restricted, and payment details never touch our servers. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

TubeCube is not directed at children. You must be old enough to hold a YouTube account under the YouTube Terms of Service in your country to use TubeCube.

We may update this policy as the product changes. We will update the "last updated" date above, and for material changes we will notify you in the app or by email.
